It is a privilege representing the Third District on the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors. During this first term in office steady progress has been made to improve the quality of life we enjoy in Sacramento County and I look forward to continuing in that effort with your support as well as with the help of your neighbors following re-election in June 2008.

Since taking the oath of office in January 2005, my priorities have been and continue to be economic development, exercising fiscal restraint and prudence with the budget, and increasing involvement and accessibility by residents in the unincorporated area of Sacramento County to the decisions that affect our neighborhoods and the delivery of municipal services that we depend upon and pay for.

That job isn’t finished yet but we have accomplished a lot. This website provides information on my role as supervisor, what has been accomplished and a recap of my activities to date plus available links related to the institutions, organizations, and places that contribute to the prosperity and quality of life we enjoy and want to maintain in the Third District of Sacramento County
